ESCAPE BACK TO NATURE

Get back to nature in a perfect romantic getaway, less than 10 meters from the shore in beautiful Brittany, France. Bordering on the coastal pathway (Sentier Cotier), the house is ideally situated amongst dramatic rock formations and endless ocean views. The tallest lighthouse in Europe, (Phare d’isle Vierge) is right around the corner and is a breathtaking sight during the beautiful sunsets.

The environment around the cottage is a nature-lovers paradise, perfect to enjoy in the morning with a cup of coffee. Climb the Meledan (big rock in Breton) at the end of the path in front of the house and enjoy a spectacular, 360 ° view of the sea and the coastal region. Walk 2 minutes to the beach and you will be greeted by seagulls and (if you are lucky) sandpipers!

Sandpiper cottage itself is a cozy vacation home, originally built in the early 80’s and recently renovated in a mid-century, industrial style. Dominating the living room is a large, see-through, gas fireplace in natural stone which will heat the entire house. The temperatures in Plouguerneau are generally mild, even in the winter, but on those cool evenings, there’s nothing more romantic than sitting in front of an inviting fireplace.

The Cottage provides accommodation for a maximum of four people. Due to the unique setting so close to the sea and nature, the cottage has been designed to be eco-friendly and respectful of the setting: electricity is sourced via solar panels; heating and cooking via gas canisters, and the cottage is connected to a septic tank.
